Prysmian at the Milan Marathon: A Celebration of Team play and Passion

On April 6, 2025, the streets of Milan came alive with the energy of thousands of runners participating in the Milan Marathon. Among them, 40 Prysmian employees took on the challenge. The event was not just about running—it was a celebration of unity, motivation, and shared passion.

A Year of Dedication and Connection

During the past year, Prysmian employees have been training every Wednesday, strengthening their endurance and their bonds. The marathon was the culmination of their dedication, proving that running is more than just a sport—it’s a way to connect, support, and inspire one another

This is the second year that Prysmian participates at the Milan Marathon, but this year’s edition marked a special milestone for Prysmian, as for the first time, two runners from Nordenham (Germany) joined the team, expanding participation beyond the Headquarter.

"Running through the streets of Milan, with cheers echoing and smiles all around, was an unforgettable experience. We ran together for a common goal, discovering the incredible people we work with every day in a completely different environment."

Commitment to Alice for Children

Beyond the race, Prysmian reaffirmed its commitment to Alice for Children, a charity supporting children in Kenya. This year, the company donated €7,000 participating at the marathon. Last year, Prysmian contributed €40,000 to fund a digital school, alongside other initiatives in the Netherlands and Milan. Alice for Children works to provide education, healthcare, and opportunities to children living in extreme poverty, ensuring they have a brighter future.

"The Milan Marathon was more than just a race—it was a moment of unity, passion, and purpose. Running side by side with colleagues, pushing ourselves for a great cause, we felt the true power of teamwork. Every step was a reminder that together, we can make a difference."
