ENVIRONMENTAL SUSTAINABILITY

Prysmian’s climate strategy uses science-based targets, aligned with the goals in the Paris Agreement and validated by the Science-based Target initiative. The company has set itself the goal of achieving Net Zero for Scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions by 2035. Presented during the Capital Markets Day held in New York in 2025, the strategy embeds sustainability within the “Accelerating Growth” strategic plan, combining decarbonization, technological innovation and collaboration with suppliers and partners. Our Climate Ambition also includes avoided emissions, thanks to solutions such as Transmission infrastructure for the energy transition, the E3X robot, Sirocco Extreme fiber and digital predictive maintenance systems such as PryID, Alesea, All-Ground, EOSS and Elaspeed S.

Our targets

60% cut in Scope 1 and 2 emissions by 2030 and 90% cut by 2035 (versus 2019 baseline)
65% cut in Scope 3 emissions by 2030 and 90% cut by 2035 (versus 2019 baseline)
Net Zero by 2035 throughout the value chain
