Prysmian meets future talents at the University of Pavia Career Fair
Prysmian once again took part in the University of Pavia Career Fair, confirming its commitment to engaging with students and young graduates and introducing them to the company as a business - and as a place where they can build their professional future.
Representing Prysmian at the event were colleagues from different functions: Aurora Pietrobelli and Vanessa Ciocca from HR, and Veronica Conte from R&D, giving students the opportunity to discover our company from multiple perspectives and better understand the variety of roles and career paths Prysmian can offer.
The main objective of Prysmian’s participation was to increase awareness of our Company among students and recent graduates, sharing insights into our business, our culture, and the opportunities available for early-career talent. This year marked our second consecutive participation in the Pavia Career Fair, and the experience is proving valuable on multiple levels.
From an employer branding perspective, many students stopped by our stand already familiar with Prysmian from the previous edition — a clear sign that building long-term relationships with universities and young talent makes a difference. At the same time, the event is strengthening our talent attraction efforts: applications from this university are increasing, and over the past year we have welcomed interns at our HQ who are now actively developing their learning and professional journey with us.
“We strongly believe in the value of dialogue with new generations and in creating meaningful connections with people at the very beginning of their professional paths”
The Career Fair brought together more than 130 companies, ranging from local organizations to multinational groups, offering students a diverse overview of the job market and positioning Prysmian among employers investing in the future.
Building on this positive experience, we plan to continue participating in similar initiatives, strengthening our presence in the academic ecosystem and fostering ongoing dialogue with the talents of tomorrow.
